Start the car manually then stop it and lock it, then try remote start.

Unfortunately the fix that I posted only lasted for 1 day and has now reverted to telling me that my engine has a fault . If I stand next to the car with wifi disconnected on my phone it will remote start but this defeats being able to start it from the warmth of your home on a cold morning , what is the point of signing off an app update that isnt fit for purpose ?

Mine is not working either, if I turn car off and stand beside it sometimes it works, otherwise I get errors like cannot connect to Volvo, or engine not working properly. So I yesterday I contacted Volvo on call through the live chat function on the app who said its a known issue and they are working on it, and to give it 24-48 hours.
My car details such as charge and fuel etc are updating fine, and the diagnostics runs fine also. |

Re 24-48 hours quoted by customer service - I was palmed off with this 10 days ago . Very poor ...
