Default 2007 D5 Injector question.

Hello again, I've been surfing the forums and have seen a specific tool pop up, which is, I believe a wooden dowel to clean the injector ports, however there are no images or elaboration to get said tool.

I'm having issues with my injectors sealing and I want to go to the extent of making the bores look shiny and spotless to make a good seal, my lifters have all been changeed, so no more bike chain noise (you know when you change a gear and it makes that ticking noise)

I've tried the rag dipped in brake cleaner while wrapped around an old injector trick, but I'm having limited results. It's the carbon around the outer rim of the seat I'm struggling to rid off.

An injector seat cutter is what you need to clean it up properly.

Much appreciated, do you by any chance have the injector bolt and thread Pitch measurement? I believe the facelift injector bolt is M6 but uncertain on the thread pitch, thanks

I have no idea, I wouldn't even consider messing around with injector fitting, just buy the proper fitting kit from Volvo, you might get away with reusing the clamp but you might not.
