Default VOC app issues

Hi everyone......xc60 B5 petrol owner.....4 months old.

My VOC app has stopped working in a morning e.g remote start or unlocking.

Once I have driven to work the app then works normally.

I don’t do that many miles but car is driven everyday but short journeys.

I have reinstalled the app which makes no difference.

When app fails to open the car the app gives a message about car ‘may be in power saving mode’

Could this be the problem and if so any solutions?

I am conscious that my journeys may be effecting the battery already.....even tho only only 4 months old.

Thanks in advance

I think a number of people are having problems with the app at the moment. Volvo have confirmed this.

At present, it won't even let me log in, and then says it has sent me an email to reset my password, but the email never arrives!

This is the final nail in the coffin as far as my relationship with Volvo is concerned. I’ve had 18 months of software issues ( still unresolved) and now this issue . Uninstalled and reinstalled the app - did a global reset of all settings after which remote start worked once and now just tells me there’s a fault with the engine every time. Customer services are blaming the dealership and vice-versa . Very very disappointing ...
