I am still a little confused, people say older cars use ATF newer use CHF, (green) and everyone says "check your manual"
my manual just says; power steering fluid : "WSS M2C204-A" "or equivalent"? from my understanding most post 1999 vehicles are (or should) be using the CHF (green) stuff? i would like to get this done today, and about to collect some of this. if someone could confirm if this is suitable for my car, would be much appreciated. https://www.halfords.com/motoring/en...1l-124416.html regards, Matthew |

There are suggestions that the older Volvos are very sensitive to fluid and age/degradation. You do not want to put the wrong stuff in. Go to Volvo, or Mail order it from caffys Volvo Eastbourne at a low price for the correct grade. Not complicated at all. |

My understanding is the colour of the underside of the refill cap tells you what colour fluid. Green = green, red = red.. correct me if that's wrong
