Default Tilting sunroof closes with key fob but then opens

Sometimes I close the tilting sunroof from the house if it's raining for example. When I do it now though, I hold the lock button for four seconds, the tilting sunroof closes but then opens again. When I use the internal switch, it closes an stays closed.

Any ideas?

Once it starts to close let go of the button,

This may work as it could be double reading the signal when you hold it too long, my S90 used to require me to while locking hold a finger on the keyless close button on the door handle, once the open window started to raise I didn't need to keep a finger on the handle, might be the same with your roof.

I've tried that it immediately pops back up.

Does it have a sensor like the windows that identifies an obstruction?
