Default 122s OilLeak

Some time ago there was an article about curing an oil leak where the speedo cable goes into the overdrive case but can’t find it. I have replaced the oil seal but it still leaks.

Thanks for the reply but that’s not the one. It was from a very knowledgable gentleman in America who gave a detailed description on how to fit these parts correctly to finally cure the leak.

You might be referring to Ron Kwas and I'm sure he will post something. Meanwhile this is another thread. Search will find you more.

Derek;

...I don't know if I have too much to add...that seal shown in your link is quite important...but if it has been replaced, and leakage persists, a close inspection of the sealing area and speedocable thumbnut would be in order to more closely determine the source of leak...

Cheers
