  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

All the D5s in the age range I'm looking at are 5 pots. Don't know about the later ones, but there are so many variants these days that you're probably right.

If this helps my D4 190 felt buttery smooth in the low revs but did get a bit rougher as you hit or held 3000+ it also didn't sound great on idle imo, you should find it effortless pottering about and a bit out of puff when trying to do a fast overtake near the speed limit on the motorways, the VEA seems to like to work up to things in the midrange at speed

Seats like you're used to aren't coming back, comfy they were but the bods have declared them not good for the spine so everything's a bit harder narrower and thinner feeling these days, the actual best seat you can buy are the Vx AGR ones, I had unbranded ones in my Insignia and the S90 still wasn't as comfortable even being in Nappa spec.
