  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

presumably so they can just manufacture/purchase one type of bolt instead of 2. but why would they have both front ones with longer thread.. and/or testing proved the extra thread wasnt necessary for strength (it isn't there on the other 3 after all)

just a little update

I bought the fully threaded 8.8 bolt and washer (from links in my post on a previous page). not fitted yet but I have checked and it will fit

more amusingly, the ebay seller - Caffyns-Volvo-Parts - said thank you for the information about some models being different. but instead of noting that on the description, they blocked me and replied to my review saying 'these bolts are correct buyer is wrong'

lol

some people just cant be helped even when you go out of your way to try

I have messaged him pointing out my budget is 10k and I've only spent 6 so far, but thanks for the block. bit petty maybe. Im sure his various rivals will be happy to take my money
