I've just returned from a epic 740 miles trip to a wedding, the computer says 58mpg on the route up(me driving) 56 mpg back with the Ms driving....topping back up and noting the miles its more like 46mpg....are the computers this wildly inaccurate? Not taking traffic into account we were doing 70-75mph however the ave speed for the route home was 56mph according to the computer. |

I'm 78 in a weeks time and I have had my current 1995 940 2.3 se turbo for 20 years. this is the 6th Volvo I have had starting with a 240 GLT. I always went back to the same dealer (John Morris Motors Grimsby) and always had a very good service from them.
For the past 14 years I have had the car in Spain and found an excellent garage to service the car. They loved working on it because when they lifted the bonnet everything was within easy reach without having to take load of bits off before they got to where they needed to be. We have now driven back to the UK and the car has done 298561 miles and I can see no reason why I should change it so long as it keeps passing the MOT. |

What does it matter someones age or car that they drive? Everyone could get a supped up top of the range on PCP but really purchased diddly squat.
