Default rejuvenating rubber

The rubber insert on my Volvo 145 bumpers is extremely flat/dull: can anybody recommend some product that would make it darker, smooth and supple when poked. I tried some olive oil on an old bumper but hardly any difference.
Another old one has a very rough surface: can this be treated to bring it back to life at all or is this one shot?
Thanks if you can advise.

Paul

Silicone spray. It's about £5 for a 500ml can and usually leaves a nice supple factory finish.

Gtechniq C4 has always had amazing reviews - it's £20ish for a small bottle but goes a very, very long way and is supposed to be good for 2 years per application.

I'm another for silicone spray.
It's also good for softening and lubing door rubber seals.

The black I get, but the suppleness when poked? Resolved by not poking your bumpers, shirley?
