I have the 2.0 VEA D4 complete with 3rd Replacement EGR Cooler and recall notice :| The service was done in February this year, so I will need to make a not somewhere to remind the dealer that the car was serviced before the change to the timing belt servicing was implemented. |

It would be good to see a complete rethink of the Egr system, however, I don't think they'll do this now they've already moved on to the Adblue system and the affected cars are starting to get old.

I have a 2015 V60 D4 and I had the letter last week.
I purchased the car just over a year ago and it has run faultlessly for the last year, really pleased with it. Last night on the way home from work the engine warning light came on. I have borrowed a friends scanner and read the code, and cleared it. Drove the car home this evening and it has not come back on. The fault code was P014C $07e8 ( O2 Sensor Slow Response - Rich to Lean ) On a scale of 1 to oh crap, how worried do I need to be? |
