Default S60 2015 Oil Consumption

Every now and then I check the Oil level via the Dashboard option (No physical Stick )
From day one - 4 years now , the Oil level is Full , After oil changing and between services.
The car made 41000 Km only.
Yesterday in a routine check , The OiIl level was UNDER MIN !
(First time I see the oposite side level - from full to almost empty.
Went to the dealer , With the VOLVO Computer check (Bluetooth connection )
The results was as follow :
Maximum available oil :5.75L
Minimum available oil :3.75L
Current Oil level : 4.4L
Distance between Oil changing / Last KM when oil changed/ drove : 13,600 KM
The dealer said the 100 cc to 1000 km oil lost is normal
Do I have a problem ?
Thanks
ps
No Engine leaks , No warning Lamp , No smoke exhaust color

The electronic dipstick on my diesel version will only display min or max (no Inbetween readings are possible). So it will go from one end of the display to the other end when a certain volume is crossed... it's the way Volvo made it!

This is why I paid £63 to equip my D5 with a full sized police spec physical dipstick.
My electronic guage said 100% physical check on technicians dipstick showed barely above min. As I was about to tow 450 miles to Scotland was not impressed. Topped up to 3/4 up the hatching and stopped worrying.
Now do not use the dash gauge, dip the oil the old fashioned way and am sure what's in there.
It also allows you to do the finger and nose tests on the oil.

Can I learn that the electronic dipstick goes from left to right and not stay in the middle ?

41,000km is about 20,000 miles, in 4 years is about 5000 a year.

I would expect an engine to use a little oil as it beds in and a diesel takes quite some miles to bed in as it's lazy power, torque not revs.

I have no experiance of the vea engines but with those miles would not be too worried about the oil consumption at this point, would however check regularly to ensure it doesnot run low and carry a litre of oil to top up when needed.

I've only had two engines that consumed oil between services, both petrol, both turbo charged.
The first required a bottom end rebuild when it started consuming a litre of oil every 500 miles at 14,000 miles, the second a complete new engine after it consumed .85 litres over 6,000 kms. The second engine let go at 21,000kms from new at less than two years old, 1 owner, full service history never raced. The crank and balancer shafts made a break for it out through the sump.

I'd want to know where the oil was going, petrol engines are not oil burners. When they start consuming oil there is something not right.

Thats odd , and contrary to what the handbook shows and what i have seen ...

I would get it checked out ... Have you ever had it calibrated ? This is a mandatory part of the volvo service ..

do you have it serviced properly where they calibrate the oil level gauge at the service ?
