Poor performance D5252T
Hi,just seen this post. Not sure if you’ve sorted this issue.
I had a similar problem with mine,I replaced map and maf sensors, boost valve, along with air and fuel filter. This did make a noted difference in performance but a sluggish feel, with a sudden loss(not total loss) of power would still occur on hard acceleration. I found the reason for this in my case was a blockage in the nipple coming off the manifold. This is where your map sensor is connected via the rubber tube. The nipple was blocked up with hardened oil deposits reducing the diameter of the hole.Cleaned this out with a small Allen key and would you “Adam and Eve it” I now have full power with no drop offs in power. All credit goes to a Polish You Tuber I was watching who was fettling with his V70 when I just happened to notice a piece of wire hanging out of said manifold nipple. Praise the lord, he works in mysterious ways. Hope this is of some value and happy fettling. Rob |

Have you checked your fuel pump timing?
As in properly checked on VIDA? Was a service item on this engine, often neglected. |
