The 130k service is a repeat of the 70k service (email me if you want a copy of the workshop check sheet).

The sheet says that you carry out the standard annual service PLUS:

Check steering suspension
Check drive shafts
Check exhaust system mountings
Check front wheel bearings

The water pumps are prone to failure on these engines. I think I read that they are best changed at 60k miles. This means a new cambelt aswell.

What you should be doing now at this service is changing the main timing belt and tensioner AND THE WATER PUMP. Reasons for this is that either the tensioner or the water pump can fail - seize - and take out the timing belt with catasrophic failure - about £4500 worth of work. -i.e. a new engine!!!
I am sorry if this has put the wind up you - it should -
Generally the car is bullet proof but the main achillies is the timing belt tensioner & water pump - generally it is recommended to change both these parts every 60k along with a new belt - DO NOT LET THEM GO TO THE RECOMMENDED 80K you run a big risk if big bangs!!!

Sorry to be the bringer of doom and gloom - but if you take this preventative measure you will have many years of trouble free motoring as they will go well beyond 350k - but they do need some bits - front suspension bushes are another favourite - but not too difficult to replace.
And it you have aircon the evaporator will have to be done at some point - check you have a pollen filter as if you have - it will last longer.

However finish on a good note they never seem to go below 39mpg unless towing. And they are fabulous on big journeys - no back pain for starters - and they will cruise at very high speeds very comfortably. Did a trip to Switzerland and back at 100+ and it still returned 40mpg overall - 2500miles overall so I am prepared to put up with it's idosyncracies

Sorry to mega write but you do need to know of the pitfalls of ownership.
