V90 outer tail light offside

Hi folks,
Don’t suppose anyone has an offside rear outer tail light for a 2018 V90 Momentum? The indicator has a regular bulb. Unfortunately the lower half of the unit has failed due to water ingress. Gggrrrr!!

Got my annual service today, advised rear tail light assembly has failed £669.00 to replace. Aaah…2018 V90

£364 for genuine new part. Although read previously it’s a rear bumper off to replace the light cluster.

Hello Cozza - does your failed rear position light include the wrap-around piece on the tail gate?? Mine does and I’m mystified by what this means - if the two are wired in parallel there must be a problem upstream of the connection?? Does the replacement come with both parts?? Thanks in anticipation Neville

I had Volvo replace mine at last service, its just the out part you get and not the tailgate part.

Water ingres seems to be a problem. mine had a small lake in the bottom when it stopped working. After it was replaced no more problems. it was also an off the shelf part in stock, rather than having to order in.

The part was around £400 and the rest was labour as the back bumper and the interior quarter panel trim is removed during replacement at the dealer.
