Default help please

Hi can anyone help me

V70 2.5 T estate 160k
The car is wobbling when driving.. and when i park the car and put both hands on the rear wheels and rock forward and back on either side there is a knocking noise (both sides) any idea what this might be this must be whats making the car wobble ......There is no play on any of the wheels so i have ruled out the wheel bearings...................Many thanks for any help......................Ady UK

As it, from what you say is coming from the rear of your car. Take up the boot floor & look at the top mounts of the shock-absorbers. These can separate allowing the top of the shock to waggle about & bang on the wooden boot floor.

You can buy just the top mounts for around £20-£30 (non volvo) & fitting is quite easy.
