Is the gear stick jammed - or does it move freely? ie car stuck in reverse but gearstick moves, but will not allow you to deselect reverse.
Had this on a renault, and the clip that attaches the gear stick to the other bits had come away, so the AA man lifted up the gearstick leather gaitor surround inside the car and re attached it. Hopefully it will be something as simple as this. Regards |

Hi thanks for reply the gearstick is jammed in reverse and just won't move, I will take a look under the gear lever boot and see what I can see , just seems more serious than that but hopefully not. Thanks
