i've been trying to install Visa on an XP pro, 2.5gb ram, 160gb h/d. IE8. Adobe 8.

Basically, i had it installed on the machine then removed it and put it on a laptop. My laptop went kaput though. I've just spent last 2 days trying to reinstall and came up with same message

install.doinstall.3pp.components.copy.ewd.utility
an error occured while copying files for EWD utility. VIDA NOT OKAY.

Spent last 2 days trying to resolve, and realised i had Adobe X + Adobe Flash on the machine in addition to Adobe 8. I removed both, and it has now installed.

Just incase anyone else having the same problem.
