Hi, I'm afraid this is not uncommon from some of the posts on the forum. Most people have had to visit the main dealers to have them reprogrammed to the car.

Hi
Do all the buttons actually "click"?
I had this on mine.and managed to replace the switch

What about your 2 nd key?
Are you 100% certain you have the correct battery. Some look very similar to each other but aren't correct.

Smile if you have a dvm

try measuring continuity - resistance across the offending switch (battery removed) you should get a low (sub 1 ohm) resistance when pressed, a quick workaround if the switch is faulty would be to take one of the others off and put in its place to get something working..

Try the spare key. If it also fails, the fob is probably not at fault. However, if it works, try to replace the battery again - maybe you got a bad one.
