If you tell me where the free parking is.
I'll tell you where the best fish and chips are.

A259 Old London Rd opposite Priscilla MacBean lifeboat which must have landed there on a very high tide .

Must admit, there were so many fish establishments that we had no idea where to look. You certainly wouldn't starve in Hastings.

We had what is said to be Hastings best fish and chips and they were good.
It's called Maggies and it's in the car park near the fishermen huts old town, only problem is you probably need to book and there's no take away.
Excellent though.
Thanks for your tip about parking.

The 8th May date stamp of his original post and the fact that in the original post he says, "yesterday" means he's talking about the 7th May.

Not sure what the person who designed the sign was thinking.. seems like he changed it's mind a couple of times adding more and more details. Why not make the interdiction and the P signs the same size? Why using different colors and size for each indication? Bad work.

The colours are the standard ones for parking, Yellow background for parking restrictions, White for parking information/permissions, so the yellow bit should alert you that there is some restriction, a bit like the red ring around a cycle indicates no cycles and a blue background with a cycle indicates a cycle path.
In the Hastings instance the regulation itself is the complicated bit, with the regulation being detailed - parking for 2 hours with no return within 2 hours - rather than a simple no parking or park whenever you want, and then the added complication of the seasonal variation.
