You should be able to order the space saver spare wheel and the two level load floor from your local Volvo dealer or online from places like Volvo Parts Shop.
You will need to buy the two level load floor to be able to fit the spare in a petrol V40 as it has a shallower wheel well. |

Thanks, searched the website and nothing on there, phoned them and they quoted £260 for the full kit, not cheap but not as bad as i'd expected.

Space saver
If you’re near Aberystwyth I have one, with jack that I don’t need.

And love it, wasn't sure i would be happy trading down to a smaller car but glad I did. Also first auto box for me too, always gone for manual over an auto, but so much easier in the commute with an auto! The only thing i miss from my old V70 is the bass from the sub lol, not suire how easy it is to add the subwoofer to the V40, the stereo is still good, but miss the real low down rumble from the sub. |

Have a look on eBay - a space saver from any post 2008 Volvo will fit (except XC90). You need a jack as well.
Also you need a kit to raise the boot floor, about £100.
