Smile Updating a 2015 sat nav in Xc70

We have a 2015 model XC70. I have never updated the sat nav but thought maybe I should do it, even though we have never been seriously inconvenienced.
So I am hopeful that I have downloaded the update for Europe (about 19Gb) onto a 32Gb stick and assume all I need to do now is insert stick into USB port in the centre console and let the 'system' get on with the download ... following any instructions that appear of course.
Is it really that simple? Is it really reliable? If it takes maybe 2hours of installation time then we will not do it all in one session in the forseeable future. I believe this does not matter because we leave the stick in place in the console and the process continues when we 'start up' again.
I admit to being apprehensive about this operation as generally with PCs and me, what can go wrong, will go wrong.

Do I have anything to worry about?
Cheers, Phil

No, it just loads as you drive, resumes each time from where it left off.

During parts of the update, you may experience that the remaining parts of the infotainment system doesn't work normally. You may be without handsfree phone connection for a while, for example.

I actually updated my 2015 XC70 only the other day for the first time.
Just make sure you reformat the 32GB memory stick before you download the file.
Then it was a case of plugging it in and leaving the car to load it.
Took about an hour.
