XC60 Style Packs ?
Looking to have a styling pack fitted ready for when I collect my XC60.... they both look smart .... interested to know any down sides to the running boards on pack 2 ? .... have seen reviews which mention that they are not ideal when the vehicle is muddy .... as its very easy to get clothing/back of legs dirty as you get in/out .... would welcome any experiences with these.
Also I assume the boards are bolted as they are weight bearing ..... but are all the other scuff plates clipped or screwed on? Would welcome any +/- comments. Thanks Mark |

not an issue for me
when its mucky you just need to stretch the leg out a bit more. But then again when it is micky I am too with two very muddy bikes on the rear carrier. Personally the boards make the car - just wish I could get hold of some 19" wheels to finish it off I had the mud flaps fitted too which do help to keep the sides a bit cleaner hope this helps Andy

Running Boards
I'm the same as Zero to XC60 just step a bit further out, but the wife almost always catches the back of her legs on them when they're mucky
the mudflaps do seem to keep the car a little cleaner though. I think I read somewhere that the doors have to be removed to enable fitting but i could be wrong. |

Yeah sometimes you catch your trouser leg on them a bit but they generally stay pretty clean.
The best bit is you can stand on them to clean the top of the car - otherwise its a step ladder job ! Overall - I would definitely order them again.
