steel wheels wanted

hi, folks. im after 14" steel wheels. ,with good tyres, to go on my n reg 440. as my alloys are u/s. w.h.y? up to 25 miles from hebburn. reasonable price, thanks, steve.

I still have the origanal set of 14" alloys that came off the 460 sitting in the back garden. Two of them have usable tyres whilst the other two have badly cracked sidewalls. There is also a spare 14" steel wheel with tyre off my old 460. The alloys are the old style volvo ones that look like wheel trims and were also fitted to the later 360 glts. As mentioned the wheels are taking up space outside and realy need a new home so if they are any use you can have them. Im just down the road from you in Newton Aycliffe.

Always good to meet another volvo enthuiast. I think the wheel bolts for the steel wheels are the same length as the ones used on the alloys if not let me know as I will have the origanal ones off the turbo somewhere.

hi, dave. tried one of the alloys on the car, the wheel bolts fit the alloys ok.shame about the tyres ! so i am still looking for some steel wheels, with good tyres. [ will keep alloys for the future] someone must have a couple of wheels out there ? up to 30 miles from me, cheers m8.was nice to meet you.steve.

volvo dave u liv locally were about in aycliffe r u ive not seen the 460 about. Ive recently purchased a 440t marroon with ****ty bronze wheels mite hav seen it, but its nice to no that their is a fellow 400t owner in the same town ROLL ON THE 400s

Hi, I think i might still have 1 steel wheel with a good tyre if you are interested . Did have several ,but not sure if i got shot of but will have look. Belmont durham. Also have a new set of wheel trims for 460gle (1992) still in box, if interested make me an offer.
Just checked in shed and I have got 5 alloys which I want to keep (off early turbo), but I have 2 steels with matching very good tyres yours for £15.00
