Yes, I still do.

However, I have never run it in a car, my 480 died before I bought it and it was intended for my 340. I've not taken the lid of to see if there is any evidence of a change, nor would I know what Rich did.

On that basis, I would prefer if someone was local ish to road test it to make sure there were happy before selling it to them. If you are prepared to buy/test etc on that principle given your location, then I'm happy to sort something out with you?

Hmmm.

I'd be happy to buy it if you're certain it is a Richmod - but it may be a while before I could test it as my car's off the road.

Where did you get it from originally?

I thought I bought the ECU from a chap on 480 club europe, but I can't find the post in my post history. The earliest post on there by me says I had it in 2007, but can't find anything in my pm history on either that site or this one to say who it was from.

I can't think of anyone I know local with a turbo either :s

Chris, are there any wires outside of the ECU? This could indicate work inside the black box. Mine have black and white striped reset wires so it is pretty obvious to see that it not standard if you know about this.

Mind you mine were made by Robou on the 480 forum rather than Richard Pruen, so my information above might be totally useless

Well, thats got to be worth a look then hasn't it.

I've not seen a Robou ECU James, but given how and where Rich developed the Richmod, I would be surprised if there was something that... unsubtle

the richmod has no wires coming out of it.

the robou mod has wires with a jumper connection so that the ignition can be reset to normal or set to modded setting. The other difference is the richmod will push you back in the seat with its harsher acceleration. The robou mod is smoother and has the torque maxed in different places although both will give the same hp and top speed.

Check this post out - I bought my Orange ECU from Robou - fantastic performance that surprises most others!
Contact him quickly as he's not making them any more and is selling the ones he has left.
