Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

True but not being able to turn them off can get annoying occasionally, so I leave my DRL setting off, and the headlamp switch on all the time.

The headlight flash works fine if I'm not indicating, maybe the stalk is dodgy.

Sorry to spoil the fun .....but all these tricks are in the owners manual....may i suggest you all read it!....Lol

Sometimes these tricks are just stupid as my Mercs lights come on automatically after dusk when i take out the ignition key.....BUT they shine down the road and not to my door or pathway.....i expect i can turn them off and that will be in my manual so i had better read about it also....Lol

only used the headlight see me home thing once.. when id got in the door neighbour rang to tell me id left my lights on. didnt do it again... but to be fair the aforementioned neighbours monster security light shows me where my door is

I have an S reg V40 and a T reg S40 T4........................ both different to what you can do, eg turning off drl on S40 but not on V40, and wiper stalk push up for single stroke on S40 but not available on V40, yet both have same hand book !! ( which I don't have )
So the handbook wont be of much use to one of them !!!
