  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

The joints are straight forward enough to rebuild,

They are greasy mucky and fiddly though, plan on a good long bath afterwards,

You need to be sure you have the ball bearings, cage etc and none of it its damaged, in all honesty it’s probably less than 5 minutes to re assemble when it goes well, but I know from the times Ive done them I get it 90% then drop a ball bearing out at the last second, I recon I got it after an hours or so on the first one but it was a bit of luck in the end,

Worth bearing in mind that rebuilding it won’t fix the initial problem if the parts are worn,
