Do I have Xenon headlamps?

Just dropped a deposit on an MY14 XC60 and my puzzlement over the massive range of options and difference in specifications has not abated.

The car I have put my deposit down on is this one:

The trim is right for me; I did not want full leather so couldn't go for Lux but I did want the sportier ride of the R Design, hence not settling at SE Nav. However it loses auto folding mirrors (which I thought were standard across the range), the power tailgate (which I now is standard on SE but an option on R Design), doesn't have electric seat adjustment (which I thought R Design did but now believe only Lux does). All of this I can live without as I've been assured the R Design seats alone justify that trim.

However, do I have Xenon lights? How can I tell?

Also, any comments from experienced XC60 owners/buyers on whether I have got a good deal would be much appreciated before I sign the paperwork this week!

The car in the link has manual adjustment for headlamp alignment so I would say : 'No, it doesn't have the xenons'

I would concur, they come with the lux pack or the illumination pack and when fitted, the manual adjustment is deleted in lieu of automatic.

Defo not projector Bi Xenons at least, the lights should look like THIS

As stated above, no those are Halogen units with reflector type enclosures. No Xenon. Nice wagon all the same.

Was trying to look up the full spec and service history for you, but doesn't come up on the Volvo system so may well have had a private plate on it at some point - it certainly doesn't have Xenons though....

If you want me to check it over then let me know the chassis and I'll come back to you.

Picture 13/31. 100% definitely halogen, not Xenon.

Picture 22 also shows the headlamp levelling dial for halogens next to the light switch. Xenons would be self-levelling.
