Heater fan

Has anyone any idea what other cars use the same heater motor as the V70 1998 model. I know the chances are the plastic and even the connections might vary between one manufacturer and another but the physical fan must be used elsewhere instead of just on this car.

I just can't believe how much people are asking for them second hand, if the part is used on another car and can be modified to fit the v70, I am sure a cheaper option must be possible.

Any one know about replacement brushes as an alternative route?
