Deadlock after delay?
Silly question time.
After a remote-lock my V40, after a few seconds the locks make a quiet click noise. Is this the doors deadlocking or something else? |

Does the boot deadlock? I remember when my battery went flat the boot was the only way I could get into the car. The drivers lock definitely dead locked, it would not move with the key until the battery was charged & I used the remote.

Was wondering does the door automatically deadlock after 30 seconds or does the lock button on the key fob need to be pressed twice to deadlock?

It deadlocks automatically. I'm not even sure if you can turn it off.
