Default I hate my XC90!

Ok here goes, I'm having problems with my XC90 T6 53 reg and hoping that someone on this forum might be able to help, as the garages are useless!

Problem 1 - Car rolls back on a hill while in drive

Problem 2 - Car wheels spin going up a steep elevated drive and the anti skid light flickers on. This only happens when the drive is wet. Car looses control and skids, wheels constantly spin and car swurves (I thought I bought a 4x4)!

Problem 2a- Footwells fill up with water if been raining, been told this is a leak from sunroof pipes. Garage says this links to problem 2?

Problem 3 - Very poor petrol consumption. Car mainly used for school runs admitedly and probably only get 11-12 mpg. Roughly 54 litres gives me 135-150 miles. is this normal? Car has gone to Volvo specialist to be checked and nothing has come back. Since then have seen on the Recalls a possible petrol leak? My friend has the same car and promises me she gets roughly 18 mpg and a full tank gets her 280 miles?!

I have 3 children and the car itself suits us very much. I don't want to sell the car as there aren't many 4x4 that sit 3 childrens car seats and still have room in the boot.

Just can't afford the petrol and also need a car to respond like a 4x4 up my steep drive.

Many thanks

Alison
