Replacing a B200E with a B23E
Help everyone, I'm retro fitting a B23E from a B reg GLT auto into my F reg B200E auto, and I have a problem with the wiring not mating up.
I will post some pictures tonight of the offending wires, one other thing though, is the 'black box' suppost to be in the engine bay of the B reg on the inner offside wing? I'm getting ready to lift the whole lot out tomorrow and drop it in tuesday or wednesday so all help will be appreciated. |

Andi - Still waiting for these pics. If you run into problems when doing the swap give me a call on 01407 832290 and I'll do my best to help.

Well it's in and running like a dream, with a pointr from mike and matt (his son)
2 stupid things really held up the joy of driving it, 1) Refusal to idle without stalling ( I'd ripped the belows on the intake, easily fixed with the spare one). 2) Severe lack of power - Matt helped with this one, the fluid was on min on the stick, I topped it up to max, and full power was regained, I will drain and refill it after cleaning the inside of the gearbox. My next project: All I need to do is smooth the edge of the lower right handside dash pod to blend in and then paint the whole lote white Oh yes, and my word the 'K' cam is great!!!! |

Hello there, the sender for the intternal amb temp gauge came from a 480, and the exterior amb temp gauge came from the B reg car as it was already installed.
Ryan are you and james going to the VOC meet on wednesday? |

Hello brendon, it's 2 aux dash pods together, the lower one can be made to fit with some cutting and shaping quite easily, if I remember I'll post a how to when I can
