Testing the water, black leather front seat's door cards p1

Guy's on doing a job on this fellas house and I noticed in his cellar he has a pair of very nice black leather v70 seats no rears but he does have the door cards.

I have spoken to him about the and he told me there his sons who is in the army and no.longer wants them, I can enquire about a price if anyone on here is after a set or offer a price if anyone wants them?

Ok was there today and the guy wouldn't give me a firm price just said make a sound offer, but seeing as I don't won't them I see no point in doing so.

The seat's are very very clean but non electric but are heated, he said he's had them for many year's I'd say the V70 they came from was almost new at the time maybe an insurance write off early in its life as they don't look like they've seen much use.

The cards are black leather with wooden inserts again I couldn't find any marks.

I'm not back there now until week after next and I'll ask if I can take a few pictures for you guys, but he will only sell complete, but if anyone wants the seats and someone else wants the cards I'll buy the set and sale on accordingly, I've no interest in making a profit what I pay your pay but remember I'm in Kent and wouldn't want to post but could meet up for petrol money and a pie 😉

I do actually have a set of nackered electric memory seats both driver's and passenger the leather is well shot but the elecs work fine I don't know if the electrics can be swapped over to the manual set?

Hi mate I actually need the non electric type so this might really suit me. Only issue I've got is what age of car they came from as my v70 is a 1997 if they came from a car that was much newer than 1998 I think there become issues with airbags. I would love to see some pics of them but could you ask him if he knows what year car they came from. could you also ask him what sort of ball park figure he's after as I don't want to be cheeky but I also don't have huge heaps of spare cash.
