940 speedo

my speedo drops out and then, later, starts working again. Any ideas?

yes its broke! i dont think Volvo clocks have ever been much good, i had to change a couple on my 745!

it may not be a fault with the speedo head but with the speedo sensor which is bolted onto the rear diff

Hi, Yes I have had , and still having prob with 91 960 speedo , exactly same as yours , Peter Milnes sent me exellent post to my prob, ,,Its on a earler post by myself headed,,Speedo ,Cruise Contol,, The Volvo site he gave was the best ive seen ,, Have a clever sparkie working on it right now!! Will keep you informed as progress expected in next 2 days !!
