Hi, Just after some advice. I'm not very knowledgable in this area. The turbo has given up on my V40 1.9D and I was pointed in your direction after submitting a thread on the forum yesterday. I've been quoted a high price for the garage to replace it with a reconditioned one. What I was wanting to know is can you refurbish any turbo or will it depend on what the issue is with it? If I can get the garage to take the turbo out for me, are they easy enough to package up and send off? Thanks

Obviously if tere was any damage to any of the components apart from service items then that would not be covered in the refurb cost but 99% just need rebuilding. I use parcel2go for my parcels

Do you have a 16t and 18t? I dont have the equipment to machine housings but you can buy 19T compressor wheels and housing to fit straight on, although i would suggest a refurb at the same time while its apart.

Yes i am, i am doing a couple of forum members turbo's now. I can give you 3 months warranty but i have never had one back. What turbo is it?
