Just looked at it from your link. For that money it must be exceptional. The guy is stating 86k miles which is very low for the year..
It would be nice to see more pictures of it............ |

Im sure we can safely say that the '86,000 miles' is NOT a genuine figure. Must've been round the clock already once at that age

As it's black my guess would be that it's been a funeral directors car - maybe not a ceremonial hearse, but the so-called 'private ambulance' vehicle used for moving bodies around. £1950 is a lot, but it does look good from the front! Jack |

Why do the mods put up with these ridiculous threads? We live in a free market economy. People can ask whatever they like for their property.
There are very few really good 240s left. The vast majority have rust issues and interstellar mileage. You couldn't begin to put a tatty 240 bought for a few hundred pounds back into decent order for the kind of money being asked for this one. Just to re paint one to a half decent standard will cost a minimum of £1500. If you can do it yourself there is £400 worth of paint on a car. Just have a look at the sheer amount of labour going into some of the projects being documented. I've not seen this car, but if it is as good as described it is a complete bargain at the price being asked. At best these threads are discourteous, at worst downright dishonest. |
