V60 SE Lux D5 - R Design pack? 2011
Hi all,
Looking to buy a V60 and have found one titled SE Lux with R design pack. Was this ever offered by Volvo? or has someone bolted on some R Design bits to a SE Lux? I've seen R Design Lux, and SE Lux but not an SE Lux with R design pack. I though all R Designs have blue gauges, but this on has grey gauges, but has all the R Design body kit and wheels. Thanks, Tom. |

Hi, there wasn't an add-on available to add the R-Design styling pack to an SE/SE Lux. I guess at some point it's been upgraded to to the same styling externally.
The only styling option available at that time was the "Styling Pack" which included: skid plates for front and rear bumper, side scuff plates, decor frames and rectangular end pipe (£1000 option). |

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, Yes, that's what I though, I was aware of the styling pack. This definitely has the R-Design bumpers and wheels, can't tell what seats from the photos. Also have no idea if the suspensions has been changed to the R-Design. Think i'll give this on a miss, it's also cat D stolen and recovered and the current owner doesn't seen to know/doesn't want to tell me the history. Also most VRM look ups list it as D5 205 SE Lux, but its advertised as 215! |

Ha yes, that's the one.
That was back in June, with no mention of the cat D. It was on Autotrader last week at £8500. Had a new clutch at 50,000 which alarmed me! |

If as it says it's only been used for school runs, its another good reason to give it a miss, could mean DPF problems in the future.

R design appearing as SE LUX
Hi there,
For my previous P3 V70 I had the same situation, it was a 2008 model with in passion red with the R design stuff, but on the record it was down as SE LUX, which apparently could be put in by someone to lower the insurance group, but on the actual label on the car, it was showing SE Sport. It could be because R design didn't exist back then, which is why the car's label shows 2.0D SE Sport, but in real it had the R design styling all round, but on paper it was SE Lux, which I was really quite suspicious about when I bought it.
