Got to fit a manul boost controller so I wont have to play with the wastegate to give it some more boost. At some point next week I'll get the car MOT'd so the real roadtest can begin, but now I am waiting for the interior to be finished. The leather seats needed some repair.
Also I hear some knocking from the front left wheel but could not find the problem yet. I hope this is not gonna be my coilovers being shot.

Finally got the car MOT'd today. I went for a little spin to test the car and see how it performs. Tried to raise the boost with the mbc but I cant get over 0.7 bar. I dont know if I did something wrong during the fitting or this thing is just a crap?

I ditched the MBC and went back to the old fashinon way to raise the boost... messing with the wastegate. Now I'm at 1 bar with the 16t. I also adjusted the cams a little bit, now the cars feels good, pulls nicely from low revs till the redline.

I have no clue about the afr with the stock grays and 16t combo. The diagnostic software does not show the lambda at wot so I have ordered an AEM UEGO controller to see what is going on. I want more boost but (0.9bar now) I am not brave enough to turn it up without seeing the afr.

On an 1855 T4 with boost set at 19psi via the wastegate actuator and the standard EMS2000 ECU the AFR`s are spot on...

The ECU on the PH1 (1998) model is capable of allowing 250bhp as all standard parts are including air filter etc. without any unreliability.
