Hello
I have some problem with the electric system in my 340. The battery run down easily because there is something wrong with the 12th fuse. But i don't know. Could you tell me what device for the 12th fuse. I have no manual and i didn't find anything on the internet.

Hi Marosik,

Go to http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/ and register.

Then go to:
Board index > V3M TECHNICAL forum > Technical resources & information > Green books > Wiring diagrams

The link there should help you.

Oh, be helpful MP,

Marosik,
When you ask a question always try to give the year model and variant as things change over the years.
If your car is later than 1981. Then fuse 12 guards the circuits for the brake lamps, the blower fan highest speed (via an under dash relay triggered by the blower switch) and the radio. The fuse should be rated at 25A.

To check for a voltage loss ensure everything is switched off, remove fuse 12 and connect a test lamp or multimeter across the fuse terminals - a light/reading
indicates a static drain on one of the circuits.
In an "everything off" state the only current drain on the battery should be fit the clock (a few mA).

Mollusk.

Anyway, you shouldn't be 'ere just now!
