Default Volvo V70 Mk2 Power Steering

Hi all,

I've got a Volvo V70 2006 D5 with a power steering issue which requires replacing the Power steering pipe Part No: 30645999. However, Volvo have the part of back-order for an unknown amount of time and I cannot find a second hand one anywhere.

Do you guys have any suggestions on where to look? Could I use parts from a S60, non-genuine parts, recommended a particular part specialist I can contact?

Thanks

I'd take the old part into a local hydraulic specialists and see if they can replicate it for you - for cost/expediency that might mean a longer flexible section and less hard line that you can then route appropriately.
Pirtek is a national company most people have heard of, but there are loads more local companies that could probably help.

Skandix have one by the looks of it .
Bit pricey ,though it gives info on other models with same part and o-ring seals .

The link is for a LHD , I couldn't find a RHD one listed but I may have missed it.
I accidentally ordered a LHD drive one for a RHD renault traffic once but did manage to cobble it together using additional pipe and compression fittings, time consuming and far from ideal but did get me back on the road!

Sorry . Good spot . I didn`t see that .
But my point is that you can see which other models have the same rack so you may find one from a RHD at a breakers .
