185 clutch kit on 163
As title, is a 185 clutch and DMF a straight swap onto a 163? I’ve read that the 185 clutch is stronger so I’m contemplating fitting one to aid my pursuit of more power…
Thanks |

Hi A long time ago on here some one did this and found the to fit the 185 fly wheel you have to cut off some of the timing teeth and move them to the position of the 163 flywheel by welding them, so do a good search on here and google and you should find it,
also there is a good youtube video that was only made a short time ago, and found out the hard way, his user name , IAMSPANNER , This is his video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHp2BFJ_1Lw Dave |
