Default EGR deactivation in the ECM Software???

Hi guys,

since volvo ECM‘s are monitoring the EGR rate it’s not possible to block the EGR with a plate in the EGR pipe.

Therefore I would like to know if there is a way to deactivate the EGR by coding the ECM without throwing a fault code?

Thanks to all in advance

I know it’s illegal but I‘m just curious if there is a way or not

For example for a Volvo V40 - D4204T9 Engine
Date of manufacturing 2016
