This has just been removed from a 1995 volvo 940 LPT SE. the car had 150k on it and didn't appear to have any turbo issues.

i've given it a clean up, to be honest im not exactly sure what (if any) play is acceptable in the shaft, so please keep in mind im not experienced here.

the turbine wheel spins easily, howver there is very slight play in it, and i mean very slight, probably only 1 MM and you need to get both fingers in order to move it.

So maybe it's worth rebuilding or using as is?

I was looking for £40 + postage for it, but not exactly sure if that's reasonable or not (even defective/spares on ebay seem to be going for ~£60+)
