Default F/passenger backrest-fold flat

Might seem a trivial problem, but could be a bit of a pain for me. XC90 Active-2weeks old. The front passenger seat backrest should fold flat. I have tried, even with the seat all the way back, and fully lowered, but the headrest will not lower below the dash. Anyone else tried.

It took me nearly 3 years on my previous XC90 to rumble this one. Ajust the recline and it seams to move the pivot point back just enough for the seat to miss the dash.

Tried more permutations, and still wont fold flat. Anyone else with a recent XC90 tried.

Are you adopting the instructions contained in the full XC90 owner manual (available on line at volvo cars uk website)? - page 94.

Sorted.

Seat all the way back.

Fully lowered

And backrest tilted slightly forward of vertical.
