went for manual with no significant options - subsequently ordered passenger airbag switch and power locks but that didn't affect delivery date.
price was good but PX value not particularly great - no doubt simply part of dealer pricing the deal. I have asked dealer if the estimated delivery date is accurate as it falls in school holidays and would have been nice to take delivery before then. |

Actually want mine delivered later due to school hols would you believe. I ordered the service pack even though Volvo states offer ends 30/09, but the dealer said will be included. Little concerned may be telling me a story....... did you order the service pack?

ordered metallic paint plus servicing for 3 years (service pack you refer to?) and have to pay as part of total price I.e. it's part of the contract so any reference to 30 September should be a reference to orders placed (in same way as Volvo discount applies to cars ordered before that date)

Ok thanks, reassuring to know, even though I have not signed anything yet, but have paid my deposit. Have they got an Active on demo yet?

Ordered my XC-90 Active Geartronic with optional powered driver's seat at the End of May. It is being delivered tomorrow (14th Sep). If the dealer is quoting 6-8 weeks, doubling that may be more realistic!

I ordered a SE Lux automatic with various extras (rear seat DVDs being the main one) on 21 August and have been given a delivery date of 5 October, but spoke to the dealer today and he said it looks like it might come through slightly earlier.

I've seen a reference to July being a shut down month for the production plant so maybe delivery 14th September is not far from the top of the 6-8 weeks quoted. Hope all goes well with the pick up.

If anyone is interested, the automatic XC90 SELux I ordered on around 20 Aug is going to be delivered to me next week, a little earlier than originally anticipated.
So delivery times seem to be closer to 5 weeks than 6 at the moment. |

oh that's frustrating for you!
I don't have much in the way of extras - metallic, rear screen dvd, power child locks, cut off switch. Maybe that makes a difference? Bonus is that because delivery is in Sept and not Oct I can benefit from the 3 years' servicing at £300 offer, which I think sounds like a great deal. |
