Cool Torslanda Wheel Nuts

Hi all,

I've recently bought some torslanda rims to replace my standard steel wheels on my 245. Looked into the brookhouse wheel nut set which are north of £100 for the set, Does anybody know/own a set that is a good alternative? or can I just use the stock wheel nuts that I've got on the steelies?

Thanks!

An alternative method is to purchase a set of the longer wheel nuts to fit the 240:~

Ebay have these in chromed alloy, not as good as the originals but if they are kept clean & coated with a thin layer of copper grease or similar you can then use stainless push on covers as shown in the photo.

Had these on my car for quite some time without any problems.
A small pulling tool is supplied with the covers for removal prior to undoing the main wheel nuts.
One of the nuts shown is locking... hence the shape difference.
Regards Bob.

Hi Bob thanks for your reply,

Do you mean something like this with the covers on top?

Hi:~
Yes they are the type I used, some time back now so I don't have the link.
The stainless covers also came via ebay. (19mm from memory)

The nuts are ok for the price but the chrome does tend to deteriorate, the stainless stays as new.
Covers are dimpled on two flats for grip- some minor adjustment had been made to get the grip right but nothing that difficult.
Regards Bob.
