Turbo Boost Sensor for me too!
Amazing. A couple of months ago I had a similar problem with my 2013 D3 136hp 5 cyl, @ 59k miles. But for me it also threw up a yellow warning light on the dash. A new Turbo Boost Sensor sorted it. Since then I've done another few thousand miles and no more issues. Sounds like a common problem?

Guys, I'm just shy of 100k now and this thread sticks in my mind... I've an issue with mine where the car will violently jolt maybe once or twice a day, usually the morning and once in the evening on my way home. Can't put my finger on if it's hesitating, but it might be. Tommy, is there any 'sure fire' diagnostics I could ask Volvo to do to pinpoint this? Andy, since you have an auto like me, how did yours react? I've just had my gearbox oil changed which has cured all my other weirdness, this is the last bit of the puzzle... |

My auto box is OK.....

Sorry but I cannot add any more info on the auto box hesitation problem. My car does not show that fault. I was just commenting how frequently turbo boost sensors seem to need replacement on Volvos. I hope that your auto box continues to behave! Andy

Car Scanner ELM OBD2
Most of the above parameters - and much more - is displayed in
Car Scanner ELM OBD2 for Android and for iPhone - a wealth of parameters for Volvos 2007-2015, shows much more PIDs than Torque. However, this app works best with 5-cylinder Volvos 2007-2015, and displays e.g. DPF soot in grams (only in 5 cylinder diesels), battery current and state of charge, MAF, turbo boost, coolant temp, engine oil temp, automatic transmission temp and gear, EGR valve position and position error, AC fan speed, AC pressure, etc. The DPF regen can be easily followed on a smartphone. /above values are not displayed in new VEA engines, though, nor in C30-S40-V50 platform. Not sure about 4-cylinder PSA diesels on P3 platform (V60, V70, S80, XC60) - first check if this app works with your car, full version is free for a couple of days. Remember to choose profile: VOLVO 2010+/. |
