If your seal is dry leave it well alone , it has lasted 150000 miles and will do another 150000 miles , a new one you never know if it will not leak until you put it all back together ...

Not too sure if I'm happy with the way the new seal is sieated though. Hope the sun is out tomorrow as I got soaked a good few times today 🤧

Built everything back up and it's fine with the new seal, dmf and clutch.
The car never boosted on a test drive so spent a few hours trying to find the problem that turned out to be a nicked pipe heading to the tcv! Changed that and all is good. Just to run over all the bolts ect to make sure there still all tight and fit the dust cover at the starter motor and it's good after I get the wheels tracked.
