You will be fine so don't worry. You can go up safely to a 100% of your car weight.I sometimes pull more than that.(I await the flack)
Go with what your dealer says and enjoy.

If you have never pulled before due to the amount of none drivers on the road I would advise going on a trailer driving course . If you know of a large empty car park etc also practice reversing

If you have some trailer lessons you'll learn so much about towing. I'd say you'd be fine anyway tbh. The 70 is a good tow car

The dealer is a real nice down to earth guy tbf, my mate bought 1 from him couple years ago and highly recommended him...in fact he sold my mum a car 27yrs ago when he worked on his dad's car lot...

I explained I've only ever towed small trailers, he has said he will take me out with him driving to give a few pointers then swap over and will give me 30min or so guidance...

Just check the caravan for damp. Swift have a poor reputation and my mate has a 2015 model that has 60% damp under the rear window

I nearly spat out my tea. I love caravan names. Someone, somewhere is always having an ironic smirk. We have the 'charisma'.

Even the OP tacitly admits the joke. He was the one careful to use a small 'c'.

Sure it does

No more than any other maker .... All my Swift Group 'vans, now on number 4, have been damp free. Only had one 'van with water ingress, that was a Bailey. However the other Bailey's I owned were damp free so the luck of the draw I guess.
