Default Power port issues

Hi

I have a Volvo v50 and in the last week or so the cigarette lighter/charger on the centre console has stopped working, as has the one at the rear of the console for the rear seats - annoying when DVD screens won't work and you are about to drive to the west coast of France!! I have found the power socket in the boot works, but I am guessing this runs off a different fuse/set of wires?

Anyone got any experience of similar - I am guessing a bad connection/fuse might be the problem, but she has done 150k miles now and am hoping this isn't the start of a slippery slope!

Yes, the boot one is a different circuit.

Not sure from your post - so have you actually checked the fuse?

(PS - this is the "for sale" section, btw...)
